Beyond My Control was among the screened films at BABFILMFEST, which was a one-night film festival held at Matchstick Piehouse in Deptford, London on Monday the 27th of June, 5-10PM.
The festival presented video art, artists’ moving image, essay film and non-narrative film, and experimental animation. The programming team was showing both films commissioned through an open call as part of the main programme as well as a curated selection of established directors, such as Alain Renais, Derek Jarman, Man Ray, Tacita Dean and Ottó Foky.
Schedule
Both main and curated programmes were screened twice across two rooms, starting at 5:15PM, with a discussion amongst present filmmakers in-between.
